What you need to survive medical school: Discipline. Patience. Perseverance. A willingness to forgo sleep. Ability to weather crises of faith and self-confidence. Accept exhaustion as fact of life. Addiction to caffeine. Unfailing optimism that the end is in sight. But most of all people that are just as crazy as you and are there to help push you through. Friendsgiving is even more special when you get to celebrate with friends whom you consider as close as the family you were born into.
